Understanding Our Golf Ball Grading System
At Lakeside Golf Balls, we carefully inspect and grade every golf ball to ensure you know exactly what you're purchasing. Our transparent grading system helps you choose the right quality level for your needs and budget.
Grade Pearl - Premium Quality
- Condition: May have little to no signs of use. Look and feel almost like a brand new ball and may have been hit maybe once or twice, balls might have company logo or golf course logo, a small pen mark or a very tiny scuff mark.
- Performance: Full performance characteristics maintained
- Best for: Tournament play, competitive rounds, or golfers who demand the highest quality
Grade A - Excellent Quality
- Condition: May Have Just Missed out on a Pearl due to a noticeable scuff mark or a slight shade off white or more faint pen marks.
- Performance: Performance virtually unaffected
- Best for: Regular play, club competitions, and serious golfers seeking value
Grade B - Good Quality
- Condition: Good playable condition
- Appearance: Visible wear marks, light scratches, or minor discolouration
- Performance: Slight impact on aerodynamics but still highly playable
- Best for: Practice rounds, casual play, and budget-conscious golfers
Practice Grade
- Condition: Functional but showing significant wear
- Appearance: Noticeable marks, scratches, or discolouration
- Performance: Performance may be affected but suitable for practice
- Best for: Driving range, practice sessions, and beginners learning the game
